Student Government
SStudent Government at EIU is comprised of three branches: executive, legislative, and judicial. All positions are filled by current Eastern students and positions are available each semester.

University Board is the campus entertainment board. The goal of University Board at EIU is to strive toward achieving programs with quality, diverse entertainment for all of you! As coordinators, we work together to provide the best events to make sure all of Eastern's students have the best college experience!

Multicultural
Black Student Union
The Black Student Union allows students of all races to rejoice in African American culture, lifestyles, history and activities. The BSU has brought many activities to Eastern Illinois University, including the annual Miss Black EIU pageant, spring fashion show, union parties, and forums. Diversity Action Council

Latin American Student Organization
LASO works with students, faculty, staff and other community resources to address issues of diversity, particularly as they relate to Latino students, by reaching out to other groups to expand our horizons and gather information on other societies in the surrounding area.
